PUBG doesn't offer a revolutionary change, but it takes the concept and produces something that's much more polished than any of those games.
Once they add the vaulting mechanics I may actually re-buy it.

As someone who hates DayZ, H1 and all of those types of games I can honestly say I'm okay with PUBG but to be fair that's ONLY because I play the game duo with a close friend. I'd never play it solo and there are a lot of problems with the game. I'd probably have minor buyer's remorse but I got it in some promotion shit so didn't pay a dime. If it was 10 bucks and you had people to play with then hell yeah but full price and solo? No way.

Well, coming from something that originated on the ARMA engine, vaulting and climbing is a fucking huge step up from ARMAa's super clunky movement where you can't even jump. Also, aside from performance, having a lack of vaulting being the biggest complaint is a good indicator that the game is pretty good.
