Besides that, the game had several difficulty modes and took note of no damage runs. It's only as difficult as you make the game like several others so without specifying how you got through the game, I can see why they would laugh at you.

You could have run through it on the easiest difficulty while spamming one attack and healing items. One could do the same in many games considered good.

The entire point of lower difficulty levels in games like this is so someone can familiarize themselves with the mechanics and then move up to a higher difficulty level that will test them on more intricate gameplay mechanics.
It's the same thing with Devil May Cry, it's the same with Bayonetta, it's the same with literally any action game on the market.

The length of the game is more a product of the game's genre, these kind of games tend to be less than 10 hours long because a narrative experience isn't what you sign up for, you sign up to learn the intricacies of the combat system.

There you go anon. Now that's a pretty reasonable opinion. As I said I don't think anyone is defending the length of the game. It was so disappointingly short by the time I reached Armstrong I was really hoping for it to pull some plot twist and it's really the half way point.

As for the gameplay, as I posted in a post that probably wasn't for (You), I can't tell you what fun means, but when Anon complains about the difficulty because he wasn't having fun, the problem is not the difficulty, this just was not a game you enjoyed playing. I'm not saying you're not allowed to not like the game, I'm just saying the issues in question, the game is too short and too easy: One of those statements is not true, and the other nobody will defend because it IS true.
