I'm middle aged. I play once or twice a week AT MOST, usually for about half an hour at a time, though on occasion I'll play for a few hours if I have time.

I mostly play 6th stuff or before, but I play a few modern games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls, or DOOM. Breath of the Wild wasn't bad either. And Puyo Puyo Tetris is kinda cool. Looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2.

It's chemical engineering and uni is free here. I changed majors once and dropped out for like 2 years. I feel like I wasted so many years on something I don't even know if I like.

I've played vidya since my C64 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I've got several friends who's a bit younger/older than me who also play vidya.
Age shouldn't mean anything when it comes to enjoying a hobby like this. The thing I've seen having the biggest impact is getting kids. Suddenly you lose a fuckload of free time, and vidya is one of those things you can easily cut away.

The last game I really got into like the good old days was Dark Souls a couple of years ago. I still play games from time to time and have bought SFV and Doom, but nothing seems to keep my interest.

I sort of plan on keeping on until the Final Fantasy VII remake comes out and I finish that. I think that will serve as a good stopping point. That will probably be the end for a lot of people my age.

I'm not that old. I've got shit luck at finding jobs though. I send out applications just about every day and rarely get so much as a reply even saying "We don't want you." Kind of hurts. I've sent out about 100 applications just this week alone, and I've only gotten 1 interview out of them so far. Maybe I'll get lucky this time, sure hasn't happened for the past fucking year. The only job I ever landed I quit about a month later, it basically made me feel utterly useless and even more depressed then I already was.

Lost both my mother's grandparents when I was 5, lost my dad when I was 11, lost my mom when I was 15, lost my father's grandparents when I was 25, and lost my uncle who was looking out for me when I was 28. Now his wife helps me. After all the shit I've been through I honestly do not care about anything such as a job, gf, or family of my own. I'm 21 and wasted 1 year of my life failing college and spent 2 other years working on the weekends.
Right now I have 2 options my parent's are okay with.
>Option 1 is go to community college for 3 months and to pass, then use that as a basis to reapply to the art college i got kicked out of for bad grades.
>Option 2 is to go to a trade school for art.
Look I know art education is too much money but it's the only thing I excel at.
The reason I'm considering and not immediately going with option 2 is that I liked the art college I was kicked out of and see some good connections there if I make the effort.

I guess I'm just asking for advice for anyone with experience with art education.
