24 BIT COLOR!!!

No it's a joke about how much Ueda was inspired by Chahi's works, this one in particular which is aesthetically very similar to Ico
>>382961701
Those death animations tho
>>382961701
You should try out Rain World if you liked Heart of Darkness. I got very similar vibes from it.
>>382961701
such a good game anon, so underrated. thanks for reminding me to do another playthrough, it's been a good few years
>>382963758
I will check it out.
The water levels are memorable as fuck. That feeling being trapped in an alien world at the bottom of the ocean, no music only sounds, surrounded by hostile creatures, always the threat of drowning etc... not going to lie, it was simply amazing.
Not having any music in this game really served it well.
pre-rendered background with seamless cinetamatic transitions. This game was ahead of its time.

the death animations were fucking brutal

Great game but the ending is so fucking shitty.
Also astroboy is one of the best games I have ever played.

Rated E for Everyone

I can proudly say I own this gem. I fucking love it. Got the disk in the Xbox right now and too lazy to plug it in and take it out.

This also had a pc version right? does it play well on windows10?
>>382966630
Honestly I just ordered the game on Monday and have been waiting for it to be delivered. Haven't played the game but the gameplay and immersive first person perspective looked cool as fuck.
>>382967340
It's super cheesy because it's a Japanese game that tries hard to be as Western as possible, but that's half the charm. I was streaming it to a few friends recently and they were surprised how much you could do despite it being a first person game from 2003.
This is my movie meme game and find it way better than uncharted imo. I'm kinda mad it was short because I was just getting gud and then the game ends. It's a shame very little people knows of its existence.

Little Big Adventure
>>382961701
I had this game when I was 4 and couldn't get past the first jump because I didn't know sprinting was a thing and so couldn't sprint jump over it so I just never played it again.
>>382968491
There is something called manual
>>382969394
I was 4. I wasn't gonna read a fucking book to play my vidya. I just put a different disc in the playstation
>>382970231
Even back then I was smart enough to read what fucking button combinations accomplish what.
You let hours of fun slip by, just because you couldn't invest literally 3 minutes in reading a manual.
Also
>not reading any manual before playing the game to get psyched
I fucking loved manuals. It's like foreplay. They explain what awesome glory awaits you.
Some of the best level designs I've played in a 3D platformer
