Fafnir is pretty fun and the story mode is decent in U2. I'd recommend it anyway just for guild card completion.

Yes? The original EO titles had tiny ass maps for a lot of areas and the length was from how slow it was to walk around and do anything. When you can run and use FJ, then it'll naturally be shorter than walking manually everywhere.
