>Today we’re thrilled to announce a new class of historical Total War game on PC. Released under a new badge, Total War Saga games will be standalone spin-off titles focusing on exciting pivotal moments in history rather than whole historical eras.
>We’ll announce it properly in the next few months, but I can say that it’s another spiritual follow-up to Total War: ROME II, like Total War: ATTILA, and moves the time period forward in much the same way.
Looks like historical Total War is back on the menu, boys
Doesn't matter, they already fucked up the Rome games so we will never have another game in the timeline where Rome is at its prime.
they should make "Modern: Total War"

so they're ditching the whole RTS aspect and going full RTT?
and with a specific event focus, that surely isn't going to get limited or anything.
I hate when you start off with like seven settlements. I like to build my way up so I know what I'm doing.
Also what interesting Roman time-period haven't they already done?

I'm tired of Rome though
So, another Medieval Total War?

>There will never be a worthy sequel to the original Rome

>If you liked Fall of the Samurai, and the kind of gameplay we delivered with it, then you’re going to enjoy what we’ve got planned for our first Saga title.
Now
What is the best mod for Rome? Particularly in my case a graphical overhaul primarily that keeps it mostly vanilla. Something like the mods in Rome II that give it Attila map textures and add more settlements/buildings etc visible
