Nah,Souls games requires a server for the online features so unless somebody creates an unofficial servers like for Mario Kart Wii it will not work,only local multiplayer games will work.

The long-legged forward strut makes vertical movement very disjointed. Compare it to River City Ransom where characters have stubby legs and it's easier to imagine the movement is proper.
Of course, just because everything in the genre is shitty is absolutely no excuse to continue the trend.

I played demon souls almost exclusively offline. It's a wholely better experience that way because it really helps nail the "alone" feeling.
