For me it was trying to get a sense of closure. Wanting to make sure the game failed me and not the other way around I guess. It's kind of ironic considering there are games I greatly enjoyed that I never finished which I still hope to some day...

for me it has to be more or less the entirety of the assassin's creed series, once they fell off the cliff and turned to complete shit it was already too late and i was invested in them so i completed them fully so i could talk shit to anyone that would listen.

I have this with hopeless FTL runs, but then I'm stil having fun so don't know if that counts. Mostly just complete whatever I'm not much enjoying out of melancholy for what the game could've been or just to get closure.
