Alright /v/, time to settle this once and for all. Half-Life 1 or 2?

Nearly every dull trend you see in story driven FPS now was sparked by Half-Life 2. Its also a boring game itself.

1. I have never seen any legitimate praise for Half-Life 2 that did not end with "for it's time".

2. 1 has some confusing level design, but the moment-to-moment in 2 is way better.
