I guess I should probably explain my reasoning instead of just making statements, so:
>Bash
They can move while doing their melee attack, and their melee attack hits all around them instead of just in front of them. Instead of slowly picking up boxes and throwing them around they can just run around spinning into boxes and get the job done much more efficiently. Since they never have to stop moving, like the other characters do, it's easy to not get hit. There's no reason to even pick up boxes as them so their bad throwing distance doesn't matter.
>Balloon
Their melee attack being mobile still carries over. There's no other character differences so they just straight up get a bonus that no one else does.
>Polar
Their push has comes out very quickly, is easy to control, and doesn't use very much stamina. The push strength is just okay, better than dingodile but worse than cortex. The fact that they pretty much always have stamina available means it's easy to save themselves and missing a push isn't a big deal, like it would be for someone like Tiny.
