Every year GDQ gets more sanitized, they want to get mainstream attention, but are far to autistic to realistically do this. So the event organizers go full blown retard no fun allowed serious business only.

The end result of it going from a gaming event for charity, to a charity event for gaming, the higherups have never played a video game before so they treat it like a business meeting = no fun

It's a shame becuase a lot of the touhou doujin games are better than the trash they are filling the time with now.
