Yeah mercy usually gets all the gold - but Ana is who you'll be relying on as a tank when you push in, Mercy's 60hps simply isn't enough for any sustained damage.

Ana also have the added benefit of being able to completely shut down healing for the enemy team - or put a tank (or anything really - but tanks are usually a 100% chance) to sleep for 10 seconds.

That's actually not a good idea. The game rates you based on your individual performance. If you pick a hero you're unfamiliar with your team might win, but you might perform sub-par and thus gain less SR than you'd have gained in case of a win with a hero you're familiar with. On the other hand if you lose, you'd lose a lot of SR due to your comparatively poor performance. If you had stuck playing your one hero you play well with, then you'd lose less SR even if you do lose. That's why you find one-trick-pony Syms, Torbs and Widows in Master. They lose a lot of games but gain more SR on a win than they lose on a defeat due to playing that one hero well in comparison with other Syms, Torbs and Widows.

The meta is now much more mobile with Lucio's tweaks and Ana's healing output not being up to par. Being an invincible wall like Reinhardt doesn't really matter when the fastest moving heroes in the game(Tracer, Lucio, Winston, D.Va) are pretty much constantly in play. There's no wall to chip at, you're pretty much diving into the softest part of the enemy formation and hoping to god there's more of your team left than the enemy's in the next few seconds.

I have a hard time believing that. The average quick play game has at least 4 DPS. Almost always a Hanzo or Widow. If there's someone telling people to switch then everyone ignores him or tells him to fuck off.

Have you even tried playing less than 600 sr games?

It's ridicolous to the point where you can piss around and not help your team in any way, essentially having a 5v6, and you team still wins in the end.

Imagine the same in 4.2k sr and you'll be banned by everyone in the game within microns. A 5v6 at that level is always, without fail, a loss.

So best thing is, super low level players can play and enjoy comp and actually win while against the odds compared to high level players who are delicate flowers and if they don't always play in a 5 or 6 man squad to win every game, will ragequit and shit on the game.

Torb is only viable when the team plays around him. Trying to keep your turret up is impossible when the rest of the team is neither shielding it, nor distracting enough to take the heat off. Level 2, it barely does any damage. Level 1 isn't even worth putting up. Even when you molten core, the level 3 turret isn't out-damaging other DPS.
