I had a crush on feena way back in the day, before I was old enough to figure out how to play games to completion. When I finally played it through a year ago, it felt more like she was family.

The avatar sprites really did wonders for this game in helping to make them feel less like characters and more like people, and they were a brilliant way to overcome the impersonal-ness of many RPG games back then due to technical limitations.

I just actually cried at the ending of Trails in the Sky the 3rd. The fucking ending where each party member says their own goodbye before heading back to the real world was tough. I started crying right when I figured out what was going on, but got control of myself until pic related happened, then I fucking started bawling. They're going to find her and make everything okay, right,
