Not really. It's basically a handheld with a dock that clocks it slightly higher. Very basic.

The only innovative thing the Switch was going to introduce was middle mouse wheel like shoulder buttons that could scroll, but they backed out either because Kimishima is a greedy cunt who wants to play it as safe as possible, or because they couldn't pin down clicking them without rolling.
Switch is phoned in and botched as far as hardware goes because Kimishima handled half of it's development
