So, Capcom has announced Megaman 2 Director's Cut for Switch, iOS, Android, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Changes:
Change music between Megaman 2 and Megaman 9
Play as Proto Man
Flannery replaces Flash Man complete with new level, weapon, music, weapon is Fire Pokemon
Saving feature
Achievements
3 difficulty levels, easy, normal and hard
Cutscenes
Megaman 9 Music option, so here are the songs:
Metalman = Hornetman
Bubbleman = Splash Woman
Heatman = Magma Man
Woodman = Concreteman
Airman = Tornadoman
Crashman = Galaxyman
Quickman = Plugman
Flannery = no theme from Megaman 9, just her theme
Wily Stage 1 = Wily Stage 1 Flash in the Dark
Wily Stage 2 = We're the Robots
Wily Stage 3 = Strange World

I hear the Director's Cut biggest change is going to be they add a voice over for MegaMan when he's walking away during the end credits about how he was a special model with no termination date and in those last few moments any life was precious to Air Man or something. They'll also add a scene where Mega Man finds an origami unicorn made by Cut Man, suggesting he was a Robot Master all along.
