Best game in Atelier series?

totori and meruru are the best but those are ps3

what are your options?

Rorona+ or Meruru. Totori is ass. Don't even bother with sophie.

Is the PC port still terrible? Was anything ever fixed?

Everything on it has been fixed. it is still a port of the PS3 version of the game though so some textures are a bit iffy. but the framerate is now smooth, no crashing and they just added the story DLC for free a week or so ago.

I've never really heard this myself. but i've yet to play Meruru. persoanly if you are new to the series and wan to be eased in i say start with Escha and Logy.

Well, i mean I am still amazed they bothred to Fix sophie at all. this low budget koei/tecmo published steam game got a fix before fucking Nier. mind blowing really. So i'd guess in maybe 3 or so months it may all get fixed as well...? maybe...
