Honest thoughts on Sonic Adventure and SA2?

Sonic Adventure was only fun ironically but this has no entertainment value

I've been on the last story for two years and can't bother to beat it.

fun but caused more autism than vaccines

Don't remember much about 1, but the Sonic/Shadow levels were great in 2. The treasure hunts sucked, but Knuckles levels had some good songs (Pumpkin Hill, mostly).

Chao garden was comfy as fuck.

1/3rd of the game is great. Some of the funnest 3D platforming there is.

2/3rds of the game are boring and trash as the Mech and hunter levels are poorly designed, glitchy, and generally playing around a physics engine meant for the sonic/shadow stages that just make them worse.

Also it marked the first time a sonic game had an omni-cringe grim-dark story. So that sucked.

Played SA and SA2 again recently because of nostalgia and they did not hold up well at all. Fuck that last level with all those rails.

My favorite games of all time, but in desperate need of a remake.

Sonic Adventure has the best gameplay.

Sonic Adventure 2 has the better coat of paint.
