Having played Portable 3rd and Tri on emulator, I'm definitely looking forward to this. Never got multiplayer to work so I'm probably just buying this day 1 and hope for the best.

Games don't tend to fully die out on pc just dwindle to a pretty small fanbase which isn't really a problem when the max number of hunters is 4. Plus along with the framerate and resolution you also get type chat to communicate with people whereas on consoles it's usually mic or bust.

This. I used my Vita to beat Persona 5 during downtime at work. You can easily acclimate yourself if you're used to playing online in MH in general.

Been playing XX on my 3DS these past few days.

The Anime shit is fucking terrible.

I know they're adding a few more "stylish" moves to MHW, but, I hope they find the right balance and don't make it as bad as XX is.

Unlike every other monster which follows some form of routine like defending it's territory or hunting for food, Tigrex chases after the players relentlessly and stops at nothing to kill them. Every single monster fucks right off if they spot him.

I've put about 600 hours into all 3 dark souls games on PC and I've run into 5 hackers tops.
One of them was so shit at the game I chain backstabbed him like 12 times and he disconnected.

I joined countless fight clubs throughout all 3 games and there was never, ever, a hacker in there. Aside from this one time the host had infinite HP so he couldn't get griefed, but I don't count that because he just stood around spamming carvings and summoning people.
