I had a falling out with my ex and she posted a bunch of personal shit between us and incredibly personal shit about myself to both our social medias so I just deleted everything I had online trying to vanish off the Internet. Started over, stopped talking to old friends, some family, new logins are completely unrelated to myself. To this day I regret deleting my YouTube account with hundreds of videos of dumb shit me and some friends did playing vidya. I even deleted my Steam account with a bunch of screenshots, too.

I wish I wasn't so stupid and rash but I was so hurt and vulnerable. Now I don't have time to play vidya with friends and I have no memories.

I try no to give up on work because else i can't really live but it seems like my efforts are always a fucking waste. I think people were just less conscious over showing approval. If you post with too much enthusiasm these days you'll get told to fuck off to reddit/tumblr, because /v/ is obviously filled with cool people who must have cool fun, unlike everywhere else where they have retard fun. I remember reading about how the somethingawful mods would ban (paying) forum members if their post wasn't "intelligent" enough and thought that sounded like total elitist hell. Quality was supposed to trump quantity, but then you'd lose the spontaneity of just throwing something out and seeing if it sticks. Now it seems /v/ has adopted this mentality on its own, except the "quality" part has been misinterpreted as having to be cynical, jaded and hostile to everything that looks out of place.
