Shani is by far the most well rounded, likable, down to earth and responsible girl in the series. On the one hand it's a little sad you can't end up with her, but on the other she deserves better than what Geralt could probably give her.

An epilogue ending where you retire to help Shani open a practice like you get with Yen would have been nice.

Combat isn't hard, thats not a prob. Arkham style combat simplifies it down to mash a button. More involved style would be better.

Also having a detective mode that hammers the hotspots to your eyeballs is ridiculous.

I wish there was a better ending to Dijkstra's questline than him suddenly becoming retarded and thinking his cripple ass could just pick up a halberd and kill Roche and Geralt in a straight up fight.

Up until that point Dijkstra CONSTANTLY brings up shit he knows about what you've done or been doing, he's a spy and leader of a criminal organization that makes it his business to know everything about you.

He knows the full extent of your century long career, he knows you've slain high vampires, have single handedly bested a high dragon, have bested sorcerers and archgriffons and all manner of undead. He knows you broke his damn leg the last time he stood in your way.

So what does this crippled mastermind do to finally take out The White Wolf? He sends a pack of redanian soldiers at you, Ves, Roche, and Thaler. Not even a horde, just a dozen dudes. 4v1 odds is more favorable than when you fight swarms of necrophages, let alone when they're just regular ass dudes and you have Temerian special forces on your side

Such a fucking letdown. I'd wanted to gut Dijkstra like a pig from the moment he opened his mouth, I just didn't expect he'd be stupid enough to actually give me the chance. He really must have bought all that bullshit about Witchers being drained of emotion to think you'd just walk away while he stabbed your friends to death in front of you.

I didn't think the combat was button-mash at all, I was engaged with it throughout the game pretty much (played on the second hardest difficulty). It could've been better, but 'button mash' is an exaggeration.

The detective mode could've been done better. If in any way at all the visuals of it could have been changed, it was quite eye-straining for me to look at.
