There is no complex movement in that entire video, combos are extremely basic, frametraps are part of every fighting game "reactions" has nothing to do with fighting game mechanics and applies to literally everything.

VF is a shallow, basic, barebones game. even top VF players call it simple.

long ass combos with 15 1-frame windows don't make a game complex. Virtua Fighter (and other 3d fighters as well for that matter) are simply more complex because they offer way more options to choose from than most 2d fighters.

Complex also doesn't have to equal complicated or hard to get into.
