So I got this game during the Steam sale. I don't know what to expect going in. Any advice?
Pray to RNGesus, because the game consists entirely of dice rolls that you will often lose.

Scrubs pray to RNGesus, real champs know how to play so the odds favor you.
Minimize your risks and retreat when the things turns poorly

It's hard, read everything or you'll suck shit and die
OP here again. I got the Crimson Court DLC as well. It looks like it's easy for my starter characters so I'll jump right into that.
Know that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer
Also: Bleed is good in Warrens and the Weald, Blight is good in the Cove and Ruins. Stuns are always great (especially ones that hit multiple targets) and raw damage is also decent. Always bring one dedicated healer.
Idk literally just play the game you homo

poor bait

What is? It says it's lv.1 and short and for apprentices. I just want to see what the DLC offers.
One thing I discovered was the Cultist is a fucking fantastic healer. His heals are extremely powerful and often doesn't make my characters bleed, and even if they do the heals usually nullify the damage. It's pretty damn op.

You're not going to be singing that same tune when a boss crits your shit and he starts to speak to you in binary.
Question here. Is the caretaker your ancestor? I know the Ancestor killed himself but we know the dead can come back to life. Plus the caretaker looks like he's wearing similar clothes to the pictures and statue of the ancestor.
can someone give me a quick rundown of what its about? haven't played any game in 2017 but im bored out of my mind so might buy this.
Last games I really got into were the souls ones and binding of isaacs.

Your ancestor was a dick so now you have to correct his mistake by sending in parties of four people to die inside various themed dungeons.
>any advice
Don't do the Crimson Court missions at the start.
Your henchmen are expendable, at the start don't get too attached to them because it's much more lucrative to stop caring and let them die or to fire them. This means you shouldn't bother trying to fix their mental conditions or improve the individuals in any way because it costs money and getting new heroes while firing damaged ones doesnt cost anything. Essentially, you drain everything good out of them and leave them as broken empty husks and hire new people to fill in the place. All for the greater good of course.
Try different combinations of heroes to suit your current needs. If there's a lot of bleeds/blight enemies a Plague Doctor is a great choice for instance.
When upgrading:
Stage Coach>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Blacksmith/Guild>>>>>>>>>>>>>Everything else

If you thought XCOM Rookies were expendable, you've seen nothing yet
This game can fuck up one of the guys in your party at any time, but you can get a new one for free so it's fine

You mean rellevation?
Do it, see the truth for what it is.
