Right or wrong, Fallout 3 began the drift of Fallout from more RPG-inclined to more FPS-inclined. More videos that point this out would push more people to say that they want more RPG elements in games like Fallout and Elder Scrolls, and thus this video is alright for that.

I didn't think Fallout 3 was garbage or anything, it was pretty fun at the time, but New Vegas really blew it out of the water. After playing NV, trying to go back to 3 is impossible. It's so boring and dreary in comparison.

i played it on a straight up potato and still had fun.

Fallout 2 and Tactics are still my most replayed. i think the reason is choice and dialogue. the older games have some great characters. the newer ones, um, no.
also the old ones have like a gazillion weapons. i don't care if they're useless novelties, i want collectibles.
there's also stuff in the game that's hard to acquire and aside to the main plotline, like Dermal Implants and the Enhancement chips.
why the fuck would you take out stuff like that?????
they gutted replayability, the old ones practically held it at the forefront.
