What's your favourite Halo Mission?
Mine's The Covenant
Metropolis.
It's depressing that they couldn't fit the original version into the garbage xbox hueg, shit was cash.
Long Night of Solace
Short but sweet ground assault segment, fantastic ship combat, and you get to board a covenant dreadnought.

PC Halo player.
Halo ended at 2.
Most of the city battles, except for the open world shit in ODST.
Floodgate most likely
Halo. The final warthog run is still my favorite part of the entire series and Vidmaster runs were the best.
The Great Journey, Arbiter and Johnson are fucking amazing. Too bad 343 shat on Arby from what I've heard.

ohohoh but you forgot that halo 2 was released on vista

343 shat on halo.
Quarantine easily.

my niBBa
AotCR/TB easily. Fuck off, they are one mission.
Amazing atmosphere, level design (yes it's repeated, no I don't care), visually amazing, and giant battles. Never played a finer FPS mission than these two (ONE) missions. Enhanced even further by legendary and co-op

The Ark nigga
>>382875869
also being able to skip a large portion of the mission if you don't feel like doing it all is nice
Cortana
New Alexandria

This.
Silent Cartographer (?) from H1
>>382873478
Darn shame. Feels a bit bad sometimes, thinking of what might have been without the limitations of the time. Definitely my favorite as well though. Silent Cartographer probably deserves a mention too.

Combat Evolved
2

ODST
Reach
Wars? I guess it counts.
What am I missing?
>>382874519
Same, felt like 2001 with the low gravity and space silence
Silent Cartographer is the correct answer
can we all agree Halo 2 was the peak of the series?
>>382873175
The high charity levels of halo 2, shit was cash

Halo 1's campaign had a few more memorable levels but I generally agree with this. Halo 3 felt like a notable decline and disappointment to me for some reason. The scenarios just didn't feel as interesting. Endless corridors of brutes and jackal snipers. The first game's massive open fields and tight indoor structures felt remarkable and every level had some kind of really neat gimmick to it. I might even reinstall the first one and try it on Legendary.
Somebody bogpill me on PC Halo because it's been ages. Is it any good or should I reinstall Quake instead?
