If you do get a Vita and install cfw, keep in mind that after a reboot you need a wifi connection to access cfw AND if you leave your Vita on sleep mode for too long there is a bug where you can't load/save Vita games. So when you turn it on you need wifi to reaccess cfw and don't leave it in sleep mode for any more than a day, or else the save bug can get ya

Vita is shit for PSP emulation, every 2d game looks worse. It's better for PS1 emulation cause two analogue sticks, but there are not that many PS1 games which need it
PSP is superior and way cheaper, just need to find one with good battery

PSP games are pretty decent on PSV actually. Plus there are a couple of plugins that allow you to use right analog for cam control.

It's a shit picture cause I have shit camera. Lack of space between pixels of lowres screens honestly affects at least Disgaea and FFT. Disgaea - Some UI elemetns and characters become way blurrier because of that and in FFT text's font becomes really annoying to play with.
I mean maybe I'm just idealist and lowres screen lower, sure. But I still have some buyers remorse after getting Vita cause I just can't play PSP games on it. It looks worse to me, and why settle on worse when I have psp

Used PSPs cost almost as much as used Vitas at this point, but the Vita can emulate better and you can pirate Vita games too.

PSP vs Vita rendering is subjective, you're getting a pro and con on either side anyway. On PSP you are getting native 480x272 resolution but the space between each pixel is visible pixel gaps due to the low ass PPI. On Vita it looks super crisp due to 960x544 and its high PPI, but the crispness also means 2x2 pixels. 2x interger scale looks beautiful to some people, and the plebs can't handle it.
