Why are people even excited for Star Fox 2?

Star Fox 1 was just a "hey look I can do polygons" gimmick for the SNES. It looked and played like shit and ran at like 2 FPS.

If you want to play the real version of StarFox 2. Sure somebody will rip it out of it and puts it out there soon after the thing is released, but for a short period of time, SNES Mini is the only way to play it.
