I think it woudl be the best.
Aside from fighting uses, it has obvious creative ones. Get good at controlling earth and you can build homes, make tools, make sculptures, fortify locations, and all that. And it's dith and stone and shit, that shit's everywhere. Plus, unlike fire that goes out, water that flows away, or wind that dissapates, you put a rock down and it's not going anywhere until you move it again.
