Didn't stop Spinsanity from somehow coming back, though.

Just a silly random thought I had this morning, in tourneys with this many contestants and stages, I thought it could be interesting to have team fights during stages 4 and beyond using your own lower stage mins as allies. Like stage 4 is third form min + it's first form version, then stage 5 it's third form min + it's second stage min, stage 6 it's full on battle 3 evolutions vs 3 evolutions.

It's probably stupid, but I just thought it could be fun, and give more usefulness for minions with aoe or team oriented abilities, maybe even have more hidden mechanics to make blast have a small chance to deal aoe damage and something similar for melee possibly.

Rules are:
One of the last collection runs I’m doing. If you want your monster to be an unlockable one from arcade mode, simply reply to this post with your monster+stats.
Size no longer matters, though pic related is blorf’s. Above 400 pixels means your monster will likely go behind the hud/offscreen. Average human height is around 240 pixels tall.
No actual humans. Stylised funny humans are ok, but nothing explicitly ‘human’.
No nsfw. Lewdly suggestive is alright but that’s it.
Stats this time should be around 10 as I need to fill out the weaker monster list, though 13 is also acceptable I guess. Bosses are 20 points.
Size 3 aliased brush for outlines, no shading the colours. I won’t be redrawing them this time so they have to be the correct style. PNG so no artifacts.

Looking back at the earlier fights that ghost got gibbed because 1 lifes, and Kamen Rider seemed to have just been bad luck because ASCII wizard landed all but 1 hit. I want to place my trust in host that Codex lost fairly but he was my favorite to win so I'd be salty if he was forced to lose.

A tourney that starts off with a simple 1v1 matches except with the gimmick that the Vermin that loses joins the winning Vermin's party. Once you reach the first of the third evo matches, the game makes a change where you stop merging enemy Vermin into your party and it turns into a flat out war against Vermin armies. While previously all your party members would be restored back to full health, now once your vermin dies it stays dead. I think it'd give for some really intense matches that raise the stakes even more than before. Oh, and each party gets their own name and flag or something

I took a spin at them. It was hard to keep the art style of the originals and make something that furthered their concepts while not going too off the rails. I'm thinking of redoing Dinoswordus' evo to have a better head shape. Tried a battle axe but i drew it weird. Gonna make Blorf's evo stand up too.

Much better, but the three pointed teeth is still too iconic to just be replaced with standard monster teeths. As well, the ability is now too strong compared to losing 5 stats, so I suggest removing the 'increased chance to use Blasts' and decreasing the increase in chance to crit.
