Inti Creates did artwork for the past two Shantae Games
Yacht Club Games published Azure Striker Gunvolt Striker pack, and included Shovel Knight as a bonus boss if you have the amiibo

As a result of all this, Inti Creates have perks of adding guest characters like these and it's really nice.

It wouldn't surprise me if we even see Miriam in future Inti Create games, because of their involvement in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night

As a Shantae fan before Pirate's Curse no one really cared about her before the kickstarter. If you looked for art of her online you'd only find deviant-art tier stuff. Of course that's all changed now thank god. The kickstarter encouraged lots of fanart and then Pirate's curse came along and art was everywhere. But I remember those dark times so I never take the wealth of art we now have for granted.

Inafundme wanted a "Console game", which means it has to be HD. And 3D is the easiest to do in HD. Really, the design idea was just wrong headed. For the first game in the series they should have done small handheld games first.

Inti has a problem with 'gimmicks' though. I don't much care for Gunvolt aside from blasting through half of 2 as Copen as a result, which is a shame. Mighty Gunvolt Burst at least doesn't make you overly rely on the burst gimmick, and the custom shot is pretty fucking great, so i'll give them that one.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst. Clear winner.

I've finished both and I like the latter a lot more. BMZ is fun and fine, but there're parts where it's a drag. It's really two games in one (two radically game modes), and if you don't like one of them it's kind of bleh.

MGB is a solid throwback to good ol' Mega Man times. (I would actually say it's a hybrid of MM and MMX.)

Also MGB is slightly cheaper.
