The Wii had a 9.0 attach rate, and about two-thirds of that was 3rd party software. Sure, third parties need to compete with Nintendo games, but when they make PS4/XB1 games they need to compete with GTA/UC/Halo/CoD/Battlefront etc etc, which eat up just as much of the pie.

Looking at sales of 3rd-party jap Switch games like Bomberman, PPT, or Disgea 5, I can't say they're selling less than would be expected on other platforms.

I wouldn't expect an action game though, as it's made from EXP Inc, a.k.a. the dungeon crawler devs. From what I've seen, you play it like a dungeon crawler but should you encounter ghost/demons/monsters, you have a set amount of turns to get the fuck away before you die horribly.
