Literally what? Did you even have a look at KCD's stuff? The animation and art direction are not only beautiful but also HISTORICALLY ACCURATE. Just because you had a bad experience with some other indie devs using cryengine doesn't mean it applies everywhere.

It's pretty amazing given the fact that they also have to put it on consoles. I don't know what era you are from, but according to current technological process humanity has achieved, KCD has great facial animations.

Combat looks like shit when compared to chivalry or mount & blade. really not interested. Also really not interested in a voice acted, predetermined revenge plot story. It seems to straddle this area between interesting solo gameplay, and epic battle gameplay without satisfying either.

Really fucking underwhelming so far, movement and combat are janky as fuck, collision with the environment is terrible, it's easy to get stuck in creeks and be utterly incapable of scrambling up a 3 foot ledge, UI is clunky, facial animations and mocap are hilariously bad, lots of cosmetic clipping issues with gear.

Game will at best be like a 6/10 on release.

Yep. Unless they make some improvements in combat, I'm not buying it. App they gave to do is make it simpler and faster paced. Remove the lock on system and add more cutting and slashing animations like Mordhau.

I've been following this game for like a year now and seeing where it is now disappoints me. The only thing that still keeps me hopeful is that they still have like 5 months to fix some shit.
