It's not the hardest game ever but it can be difficult, however once you get the hang of it, it's really fun.

Also it fucks with you but fair.
Like cat Mario you might see a ledge so you jump on it but fall through. It's being a dick.
DS does something similar you see a treasure chest in the corner you go to get it but a monster falls down above and kills you. However it's fair, you can see the monster if you take a look at you surroundings. Even then if you pay attention and dodge and kill it when it jumps down. The game can fuck with you by making a monster come behind you.
It's a dick to you but fair.
