It's a really great game that does some interesting things with integrating story into gameplay.

Gameplay wasn't as good or as deep as any other platinum game, bullet hell sections were too few and far between, lacked enemy variety, bosses werent up to platinum games standard either, aside from Simone and you had to play through nearly the same storyline twice to progress. So far I don't dislike it, but I was hooked on MGRR and Bayonetta while this hasn't really convinced me much. The main character also seems much more bland and only appealing for ruthless fornication which would be fine for me if it actually happened.

Nier is a bad, shallow game that literally praised for two things: 2B's ass and the end of the story.

But no one that praises this shit ever talks about how comically empty and generic the world is, the invisible walls up the ass, the horrible hacking gameplay, LITERALLY redoing 6-7 hours worth of the campaign with only 30 seconds or so of new footage before each boss fight, the utter lack of enemy variety, how piss easy the game is or that the many weapons are ultimately meaningless because most of them play the same.

Nier Automata is not a good game, but it gets a pass because weebs and waifufags. Fuck you, Ben Moore. This is not a masterpiece in the slightest.
