I want to love Endless Legend. I love the strategic layer. Quests are very interesting though sometimes frustrating.
I HATE the combat portion, though. It's like between this and Endless Space they can't make good strategic combat. JUST HAVE SOME STACKS SMACK EACH OTHER AROUND, CALL IT A DAY. And yes, I know there's an auto-resolve, but that's always the "discount my army's stuff by a noticeable percentage" option when available.
Quit trying to pretend the combat in MoO2 was fun. Just make some stacks, smack them off each other, and let me strategize
