it starts "alright".
It becomes great after you leave the Plateau.
How great depends on what you do and how.

I personally fooled around dozenS of hours before even meeting my first NPC, or seeing a single piece of Rupee. Really thought I was in a total post-apocalyptic Hyrule.
I also went to check out Ganon long before I'd even beaten a single Beast. Shit was epic, and I almost won to boot. Almost.

kek. Just beat the shrines in that area, get the para glider and the game begins to get fun.

To be honest, there was major lack of dungeon type things and way too much soulless empty puzzlefests. All 5 major bosses are technically the same. Shrines are kind of funny, but there is tons of same shit all over again. 120 shrines, where half of them was way too fucking much.

It's fun game. But let's be honest, it's not a fucking 10/10 game even though it did world exploring and niche little details absolutely correctly. Combat especially is pretty lackluster and no "right mentality to approach the combat" makes it any better.
