CONGRATULATIONS

After the tournament, everyone got together for a group photo.
Wargraav, set on looking his best, cleaned off that fake mannequin and ketchup from his exoskeleton and gave Rekts his hat back as a show of good faith.
Bing Bing's failure didn't keep him down, and apparently he's working together with Quickling (in rehabilitation after Princess Barf glues all his guts back together), and they're going to release a special Olympic Games vidya together.
Sharcc had to find a new bear, but it's all good. No hard feelings.

Having proved herself the strongest of all, OP Cash Whale gathered all of her trophies and headed home to resume playing Korean MMOs. Evidently they made good bowls for mac & cheese.

For those of you who stuck around for god knows what reason, it was a wild ride and if any enjoyment came of it I'm glad. Sorry for always stretching these things on, but I wanted as many people to have fun as possible.

Hopefully somebody else is willing to take up the mantle next week, and I obviously have to figure out a faster way of doing things or some other kind of format altogether, but I'll post the schedule for the next tourney on the Booru once I've figured out a time.

Thanks for the advice. I decided to rewrite the abilities, keeping in mind that my /v/ermin should be directly benefiting from its abilities. However, I am terrible at balancing and would appreciate it if you looked into my rewritten abilities and rated them:

Every time Hooksly is attacked, there is a 75% chance that the attacker's stat used to calculate the damage is lowered by 2 and Hooksly's opposing stat is raised by 2. However, each time this ability activates, the chances of it activating again are halved.
>Circular Community:
Every time Hooksly is attacked, there is a 100% chance that the attacker's stat used to calculate the damage is lowered by 1 and one of Hooksly's allies has their respective stat raised by 1. However, each time this ability activates, the chances of it activating again are lowered by 20%.
>Spyrrical:
When any /v/ermin reaches half health, their Lifes is swapped with their Muscle and their Blast is swapped with their Guard. When Mawsly reaches half health for the first time, it heals for 25% of its health.

if it triggers once, you have basicly reclamed 4 points out of your 5 point investment.

if it triggers twice, you have 8 points out of your 5 points investement, which is already +3, and thus op.

so mathematically speaking as soon as 6 attacks happen, its op.

circular community will trigger, reclaming two points of your 5 investement, then it has a 70% to trigger, making the total 4 reclaimed out of 5, and then you still have a 40% and a 10 percent to trigger again. meaning this one is also op.

More cashwhale edits when?

It's very nice seeing people making new great mins, but at this rate I imagine we're gonna have twice as much submissions on saturday. We could focus a bit on making more content, rather than more mins, those with any sort of art/editing/production skill could work on shit like VFC trailer videos, OC comics and art, music or funny vocaroos, anything to expand the awareness and hype of the game.

Just more and more mins my get people discouraged when their min wasn't featured in the tournament. Also I encourage everyone to flesh out their designs during the downtime, even if you feel you're not good at art, you can always download something like paint.net for free, and use layers to trace over other things, it's very simple and will help you make more visual appealing stuff while keeping the MS aesthetic if you want. Also don't neglect the first form, a lot of the time first form is the only one that gets to fight.

Just my 2c before the thread dies for 4 days, I loved this tourney and I loved all the contributions by the growing community, I hope the next one is even better!
