Nintendo dropped off the whole power race,consoles are just x86 PCs for dumbasses. Honestly I don't even care about this generation because the whole "generation" thing sort of died to me midway through the PS3.

What defines this "generation" is which big ass company is buying which game for a set amount of time. With graphic APIs and standardized engines the whole "console generation" thing is now just a way to hold the customer (us) by the balls.

Anyway listen to me. Back in the 6th generation, every console had a huge library of exclusive games including PC. Nowadays, the amount of games has shriveled because there is only one unified library between all systems.

Let's use this example, console 1 has 10 exclusive games, console 2 has 10 exclusive games, console 3 has 10 exclusive games, and PC has 10 exclusive games. That's 40 different games to play from. Now with this modern generation, all systems share the 10 same games. That's only 10 games with no variety between, the only exception to this is Nintendo.
