Been jumping between games like a mother fucker. Played some Crash 2, CTR, Spyro, SMTIV trying to get a black card, New Vegas, and some Spongebob game I got from a friend.

Alright. I'd say you're about 25% done with the game, give and take. If you want some hints on where to head next, here's some spoilers.
Make sure you keep going down the path you're on, to the bottom left or something, to get the grapple beam. Then, backtrack up again to the large room before the speed booster. Take the door below it and you'll find the wave beam. You'll need these before heading back up to Crateria and taking the right path to the Wrecked Ship.
Upper Norfair is easy to clear out without having a lot of upgrades. I think you can do it with what you have, so if you're feeling a little underpowered, keep searching for a while.

Today was the last day my best friend of 10 years will be able to play multiplayer stuff with me for possibly quite a long time since his wife is having their baby on Wednesday, so we played PUBG, GTAV, and Diablo 3 all day.

I'm on a Zero Mission craze right now. Been playing and replaying it a bunch, trying to really figure out how the game is laid out. I'm loving the game, but I'm also a bit disappointed, because I remember it being a lot more open when it came to which order you can collect things in. There is definitely more freedom than in Fusion, but the game does seem to arbitrarily lock you out of getting certain items early, for no apparent reason.
You can skip the power grip and get the Varia early, head down to Norfair and try to get the Ice Beam, but the game places a barrier on the left path after the elevator, which just disappears at some point. It's such a silly thing to do, because even if I make it over there, I'll need the speed booster to advance further.
However, I definitely remember being able to perform a really tricky horizontal bomb jump in Kraid's Lair, over a large acid pit, to get to Kraid before getting the power grip, so theoretically I should be able to advance through Norfair without it. I think if I CAN get to somewhere without dying or being unable to get back, I should be able to get whatever items. Don't put up these stupid barriers for no reason. It doesn't hurt the game if I'm grabbing stuff early.

Aspies are on the spectrum, yes. It's fairly light autism. Usually they are just socially awkward and might have some trouble controlling their emotions.
Two of my friends are aspies and I remember being stuck between their sperg-outs a couple of times. It's not pretty.

I just bought darkest dungeon and I'm loving it. I played a few hours, and finally killed my first boss, the Hag. She killed 2 of my people though. I'm not sure how I could have handled the fight better. The pot seems invincible when nobody is in it. And if I only attack the pot, she will never get damaged.
