I'm a HUGE fan of the original and let me tell you, the remaster is garbage. It completely loses the dreamy, colorful aesthetic that made Fable so memorable for a more boring, pastel palette that comes off as flat. The lighting is fucked and everything looks plastic, it was a huge disappointment.

The original on max settings still looks damn good. I just beat it like a week ago and this was my character.

Haven't tried it yet and only watched totalbiscuit's review, sucks that the remaster is so poor. Love Fable TLC to death and it sucks the second part is Xbox only, really wish I could play it but emulators need more time it seems.

TRY TO GET YOUR COMBAT MULTIPLIER EVEN HIGHER

If Molyneux didn't overhype this game with his bullshit it would still have a niche cult and be praised by reviewers as a hidden gem.
Luckily i played Lost Chapters before hearing about the lies so i enjoyed it a lot.

There are a ton of spells that sound useful, like slowing time or summoning creatures to get others off your back, but since the game is so easy and forgiving anyway, none of the spells end up being that useful.

I remember I did a sort of challenge run where I levelled up only enough to age back down to 18 through the temples.
It actually made the game somewhat difficult.

I did that too, I restricted myself to 20 'level ups' and made a couple interesting characters. You can still be OP as fuck though, my lanky thin archer raining down arrows of hell with his max accuracy and multi arrow spell for one. Some battles are tense as fuck when you have stock health mind.
