The original has unlimited save slots (the remastered has 8 save slots), the remastered version is a little buggy (the game crashed randomly like 3 times on me)

No. That was the biggest problem with it, in fact. It's pretty much 1:1 the original game with slightly touched up character models (basically just up to the point where they don't have aliasing). Some of the music has been touched slightly too, but I barely noticed any difference. Beyond that, it runs on modern systems with modern resolutions, and it has an optional commentary option (don't listen to the commentary on first playthrough obviously).

It is absolutely 100% worth it despite it being a retarded "remaster" because the original game was so fucking good. You'd be a fool not to get it. Also, the game does not have any autosave system of any sort whatsoever. Don't forget to manually save. Don't worry, you can't die or get stuck in this game so no need to savescum. The biggest threat to potentially losing progress is forgetting to save before exiting.

Its so much better than SG2, and I thought SG2 was decent.
Its about as close to mount and blade in space as you can get. Its still a more simple and arcade-y sort of space sim but its good IMO. And the grinding isnt too bad, though there are parts where you have to amass a good bit of funding. Better story mode too.

I just played and really enjoyed Detention.
If you enjoy stories of regret and shitty things happening to good people you'll probably like it too. It does have elements of classic point and click games and survival horror, but the main driver here is the narrative.
Ending is depressing as fuck though, there is no real closure for anyone.
However, it's only 2-3 hours long, so it's up to you if the current asking price of 8 USD is worth it.
Because I'm a sentimental idiot, I enjoy the feeling of supporting indie devs that actually make good games, especially if they're groups of people that don't come from the particular shitty American indie clique.

Borderlands 2 GOTY worth it? I know Randy is a cuck and all but it was kind of fun when I played it years ago

Speaking from experience, you'll have more fun on official servers with Rust.
Ark official servers LITERALLY require you to have no life. Taming any creature worthwhile takes up to 15 REAL LIFE HOURS. And you don't do anything interesting for these hours, but you have to be there the entire time. Basically the taming process if you knock something out and put food in it so it slowly eats and fills the tame meter. But it also has a meter for how knocked out it is, and you constantly need to feed it drugs to keep it knocked out.
So if you want to tame a level 100 T rex or some shit you have to spend half of a real fucking day babysitting it, and anyone can come by and just try killing you, or even worse just shoot and kill the thing you're trying to tame. If you find a decent unofficial server that speeds up tame times and doesn't have absolutely cunt mods you'll have fun, but official servers are nothing but a time sink that reward the largest clans who have people literally taking shifts to tame stuff so they cannot be raided. Oh and outside of massive updates, official servers are never wiped. So if you're behind you will always be behind.

Meanwhile on Rust official servers the worst thing that will happen is someone having a mega base that will eventually get wiped when the server resets, and everyone is back to equal footing for the fresh server. Wipes happen anywhere from weekly, bi weekly, and monthly.

the kotor games are pretty good, so yeah. worth it, though they show their age through coding.

once you get around to play them, save often and use one or two normal save slots in addition to auto/quick save. the game sometimes crashes and on rare occasions it does so while saving, corrupting your save file.

i lost an entire planet worth of progress once because i forgot to do a hard save and both auto and quick save got corrupted, with autosave coming out blank and quicksave getting deleted because of a crash.

Deadbolt is pretty solid. Think Hotline Miami meets Gunpoint. Though to get all the weapons you need to unlock achievements to get the extra money to buy them. Recommend getting the Headhunter + Hammer. Headhunter instakills as long as it's a headshot and is always accurate (no spread). Hammer can kill anything in 2-3 hits, most enemies aren't fast enough to respond to 3 consecutive hits, and it's a good back-up ranged weapon since it one-shots anything it hits when thrown (As long as they aren't big guys).

Darkest dungeon. I got it this sale. I've had it for about 5 days. I fucking love it.
It is unforgiving. There will be times when you want to punch your monitor. But there will also be times when you shout in triumph. The atmosphere is amazing with a great narrator who sets the tone for everything and has a lot of memorable lines. There's quite a bit of luck involved so if you dont like relying on any luck it's not for you. But the luck can be mitigated in some ways. And the luck prevents you from cheesing your way to victory.

I haven't played with the DLC yet but I plan to buy it soon because the game is amazing.

Are the characters good/likable? I have massive nostalgia for the genre so I can deal with the gameplay being a bit shallow (which I heard it is), but the dealbreaker for me is whether I'll get into the characters. Would appreciate a couple of people's opinions on this.
