It's weird how the guy who ran G4 complained that "people don't want to watch other people play video games" but Twitch would explode in popularity less than a decade later. Kind of a shame that video game-based shows with high production values aren't really a thing to this day. It's a scifi comedy/satire about a bunch of aliens pirating music from Earth and suddenly owing the planet huge amounts of money and potentially needing to pay humans royalties, but that would require revealing their existence to humanity, and would also bankrupt the galaxy.

I miss G4, high production value vidya coverage doesn't really exist anymore. Sessler's downfall was the God of War game, I forget what, where he reviewed it and complained about the achievement called "Bros vs Hoes" for being sexist. He ended up getting enough of a fallowing off of that that they changed the name of the achievement before the game released. He heard praise for that and started to be more "progressive" thinking it is what the viewers want, leading to his downfall.

That same review was him talking about how he got stuck in a fight and couldn't be it. Had someone else do the fight for him, because he was on a time crunch to do the review. AotS was just a dumb show about stuff I was intrested in with the hosts ripping on each other. I miss it. It wasn't amazing quality shit to write home about, but I loved watching it after school.

AOTS was ahead of it's time.
the chemistry/riffing between kp/olivia/even the crew was amazing and it was unlike anything else on t.v.
the best days of my life were watching xplay, then aots from 07-when g4 died.
people hate on candice alot, but she was great with kp. even the shows from late 2012 where they stopped giving a fuck were still enjoyable.
