There's pre-Horse Armor and post-Horse Armor. Stop trying to pretend DLC from the 6th gen, lots of which was free, is anything close to what we have today.

Wii was genuinely shit and is pretty much only ever defended to spite some other console. Xbox 360 similarly. Both have like 4-5 worthwhile exclusives and like 10ish alright experiences that you could pick up. PS3 ended up a little better but it took like half a decade. The handhelds started off strong but piracy strangled both of them.

All in all. It was a pretty shit gen. And 8 has really felt like more of a 7.5. Which is just extra insult to injury.
