Silent Hill 2 really got shafted all in all. Silent Hill 3 works fine on PC with some tweaking but 2 is a mess. Fix the sound glitch get the save glitch fix that get the graphics glitch etc.

The HD Collection hilariously made the games look and run worse, there is a weird haze over everything (not the fog) and they took it upon themselves to retexture areas with gay shit seemingly at will.

"""Backward Compatibility""" on Xbox 360 is a trainwreck as well. Its listed as a supported title but I guess that's like "playable" on an emulation wiki in that it starts up and kind of runs.

So original PS2, original Xbox, backward compatible PS3 are your choices.
