You're very likely going to like Velvet. She's definitely not butch. Picture the opposite of virtually every Tales lead character pretty much ever and you might start to get an idea. She's also insanely strong bordering on broken tier and definitely the strong and sexy type. All the girls in this one are pretty good though without any annoying characters. They switched up development team staff and producers (even though memesters will still never shut up about the old one that left the company a year ago at least for Square Enix) probably for the better. The lead character designer stayed the same but that seems to be about it and Berseria seems to mark the start of the fourth age of Tales games.

the characters are fucking god-tier (they look even better in the manga...it's like softcore porn) but the story is absolutely abysmal and literally made for 12-year olds.
