Final Fantasy 12 - going for a full esper run and underestimated Chaos and derped the fight so terribly I'm actually upset with myself.
Metal Gear Rising - still stuck on Armstrong on Very Hard difficulty. I'll get it someday.

Just Started Metal Gear rising, the Jetstream Sam DLC.
I started on very hard, then was getting one shoted by metal gears. So I went down to Hard until I have more upgrades. Spent and hour and a half losing to the Bladewolf boss. Taking a break now then I'll get back to it.
I just have such trouble getting in with Sam, Raiden does a little dash, or can run and cut. As Sam if I run and cut I do a charge in Stinger that leaves me open to get hit 80% of the time. I just need to figure out on how to get in on Bladewolf, his jump back projectile is giving me the most trouble.

It's better than I expected after reading the reviews. The health spawns are really limited, so trying to play it like Quake is a recipe for disaster, but otherwise it's pretty satisfying to shoot stuff and the music is quite good. As for the levels, they're not super randomized (you'll be able to sort of predict the patterns after a while) but I was surprised at how naturally they flowed for me.

I kinda wished the price would be lower, but even at $13.37 (xd fahnny price guize) it's a decent deal if you want something that feels like Quake with a slight System Shock aesthetic.

I've only played Oath on PC. It was a fun game but it just didn't "click" with me. If you're playing them from the beginning I'd say your innate desire to play them is stronger than my own and would recommend it. The game had great music and the gameplay and world was charming.

Fallout 1 for the first time. So far, interesting, but I have no idea where to go. I visited Shady Sands, spoke with everyone, heard about the radscorpion, remember someone mentioned in a FO thread once that their cave could be blown up, so I haven't bothered doing the mission yet.

I'm also looking forward to Darkest Dungeon and Beat Cop when I get a chance. I'm on the fence about Tropico 5 or Alien Isolation.

While I haven't played .hack, I would say they do resemble it. The combat in all of them is solid (idk about the PSP game since I haven't played it) though I feel Lost Song was the weakest of the 3. The combat felt more jerky and not as smooth as either of the Hollow games plus I didn't like the aerial battles all that much.

I just finished burnout 3 in an epic burnout 3 thread we had yesterday so I am taking a break today

Literally none. I was mostly busy tho, but ended up refreshing three threads and watching tv show reruns while drinking beer. I hate myself for buying 3 games this sale and then never playing them, at this point i'm more of a collector than a gamer.

And instead of getting into Pathalogic or trying out Firewatch, or getting further in my Underrail run, i ended up playing two games of CSGO where i got yelled at by russian kids. I hate this game, but i don't want to put an effort into a game i can't alt-tab out of every two minutes. What's wrong with me?

Been.playing Persona 5 in short bursts. I'm about 75 hours in and at the prelude to Okumura's palace.
Also got Binding of Isaac Rebirth and all the DLC, so I've been playing that in even shorter bursts every few hours.

I found the rope in Shady Sands, so I definitely have that ready to go. Which first mission are you referring to? so far, all I got requested was help with the scorpions which I won't do since I don't have explosives yet. I definitely haven't been to the hub yet, I found the Khans and a ghoul city to the south of them. Titanfall 2 and Killing Floor 2. I haven't played either of the first ones which is a weird coincidence. Titanfall 2 has some interesting guns but it seems like the best one hands down is just the starting AR.
Killing Floor 2 on the other hand has fantastic shooting. I love the shotguns. I've only managed to clear suicidal once with randoms, shit is hard as fuck. Can't imagine what hell on earth is like. Both are pretty damn fun.
