Starbound has tons of issues and inconveniences, but it still a decent game. I wouldn't say it's as polished, balanced and paced as Terraria, but it still a very nice exploration game with tons upon tons of content. Mods actually make it better. I have no idea why people hyped No Man's Sky so much when the game they always wanted was already there, so basically it's what No Man's Sky should have been: an actual exploration driven progression based action arcade game.

Not him but Wasteland 2 DC combat was pretty nicely done for me. The only problem I had with the game was linear progress of weapons, armor and hp - armor piercing was a must and sniper rifles/assualt rifles were meta as the result. Otherwise, it was fun 90 hours of gameplay. But that might just be me and my love for this kind of games.

Mangagamer had to completely find a new payment processor after their old one dropped them for mass chargebacks shutting down their store for a couple days. Because of this, they no longer offer steam codes with the 18+ versions of games on their store that also have steam versions.

It's still good, but it makes certain story interactions a bit awkward.
One thing though, I don't know if they fixed it, but some parts of some quests are really environment-reliant, and it's not always obvious of what the game intends you to do.
But you should pick it up. Larian studios are a great game company, and the music of this game is very good.

Get Shadow of Chernobyl and both KOTOR games. Eventually you finish SoC and get the other games later. For now SoC and KOTOR can occupy your time.

SoC is great. You'll need some mods though. The links in this image probably don't work anymore, but just google search for "Shadow of Chernobyl starter pack". Also youtube search for an installation guide and you're good to go. They show you step by step. SoC is a great game, have fun.

Many of the things that made Hotline Miami 1 good were taken out or shit on in the sequel. Small compact levels became massive empty rooms full of gun-toting dipshits. Melee is almost never viable except for certain areas where they have to make it viable because there are enemies immune to guns. You went from being able to choose what mask you wanted to play the game with to being forced to either use one of three abilities (and since one ability was melee only it might as well be two) or you're forced to be some Literally Who that doesn't even get any special abilities. The only thing i can say is an improvement is the soundtrack and the combo counter.

Also the more you learn about the development of the first game the more you learn that the first game was just lightning in a bottle and the devs had no idea what the fuck they were doing.

If you're going to play any 4X at all, Civ V is probably your best choice.
But don't expect a comfy base building sim like AoEII, the COMBAT in Civ V is notoriously bad.
Late game pursuing any victory on a large map lots of turns and lots of AI will have you clawing your eyes out.

If I'm not totally digging Hollow Knight after ~2 hours, should I refund it? Got to right after the point where I kill needle girl and take the dash ability; just went and got some charms I couldn't before.

The art and music is of course fantastic, but I'm not digging the level design so much. A lot of it is just blindly moving though corridors until my next objective, where most of the enemies don't pose a threat. Not like I mind backtracking or exploring, but all the rooms seem like timewasting fillers compared to something like Super Metroid, where everything has a purpose. Plus the combat is kind of dull at the moment and everything takes too many hits to kill, though the bosses were cool.

Does it get better soon? Or should I refund now and wait for it to be half of its current high price so I wouldn't feel so bad about dropping it?
