Inklings could stand to be mario/kirby/pokemon/zelda tier if 2 and future endevors go well.

Bayonetta is also reaching a certain level of regocnizable at this point. About on par with something like metroid or banjo kazooie imo.

If you truly want to be objective, the Companion Cube is far more iconic as a symbol, due to all the shit that came with it.
GLaDOS is the iconic character of the franchise, but not as a pop symbol, as would be the Chief's helmet.

Then there was some other things you can say were iconic, but not solely tied to games, such as the Yu Gi Oh stuff.
Master Chief was the mascot of mircrosoft for a while, however he seemed to lose a lot of ground around the release of 3.
