I've always been a firm believer in "less is more" when it comes to media content and now that I can have anything I want anytime I want pulled up or done with the internet I almost hate that I can't get away.

I no longer enjoy doing anything off the internet, but I feel I've exhausted most of my entertainment from using computers too.

Actually I love very little of what capitalism has produced. I love people, and sometimes the art they make, and nature. All of those things exist independent of capitalism. Sometimes capitalism actively suppresses or destroys those things.

Do I get some enjoyment and utility out of some of the things capitalism has provided me with? Sure. But it's also allowed me to become disconnected from other people. Honestly I think if I could give it all up in exchange for being able to live in something that felt like a real community, with real, quality relationships with other people, I would be infinitely happier.
