Since Sunless Sea is on sale, and Fallen London is currently experiencing an election, I decided to make this thread.
Share your stories, choices and mistakes. If you're playing FL, who are you supporting?
Are you meant to go hunt the big ass crabs from the get go? if it worth dissecting them?

Not the fuck-off big ones. If you manage to kite one to death early though, it sure is profitable.
Gave Fallen London a go a while back and ther was a lot of boring story I didn't give a shit about, liked the setting though. How is Sunless Sea?

It is written by the same people, and it's basically just questlines connected by swimming in a steam-boat, so if you didn't like FL's writing, I doubt you'll like Sunless Sea.

FL just felt plodding mainly as you could only do so much before you had to wait to do more turns
This game seems perfect for late nights while it rains outside.

I like the atmosphere and shit but the gameplay is so fucking slow and boring.

wouldn't pay for it, even if you like the setting, choices and lore the gameplay is worst than some shit flash games from like 15 years ago
it's also hard and somewhat dependant on RNG

Grab a trainer that has a double speed option, anche cheat yourself some money. Buy the best ship right away and go exploring.
SS has a really great story, but an awful gameplay.
As for FL, I got to level 100 almost in everything but then I dropped itafter discovering that you can manipulate RNG by desyncing the mobile app
