Smash/bomb all the boxes you find in each room and salvage everything you can.

Use bombs on weak enemies

For the final trials: make use of those elemental weapons you get.

Again for the final trials, you should be able to get 9 ancient arrows by room 19. Save those suckas as they'll be your saving grace for the final 5 rooms.
